Here at Crieff Hydro, we have an ongoing commitment to providing accessible accommodation and facilities for our guests.
Hotel Accommodation
By satisfying Visitscotland grade 3 accessibility standards, Crieff Hydro offers a choice of accommodation options within the main hotel.
Adapted ground floor bedrooms that are centrally located have access to a separate wheelchair accessible bathroom for guest use. We also offer a choice of family accommodation. We offer car parking facilities outside the main entrance of the hotel and four internal lifts allowing guests full access to all of our bedrooms and leisure facilities.
Self Catering Accommodation
Crieff Hydro is home to 52 self catering units, one of which has been specially designed to meet Visitscotland’s grade 1 accessibility standards.
Situated within our estate near Culcrieff Golf Course, Abercairney cottage is one of our five star self catering units that sleeps up to eight people and overlooks the beautiful Strathearn Valley.
Abercairney’s living space is located within a roundel, giving a unique open plan circular layout. In terms of mobility, wheelchair access is available to all public rooms, one en-suite bedroom and the outdoor decking area. To ensure guests enjoy maximum independence, a hoist aids travel from bed to bathroom.
Dining Facilities
Crieff Hydro offers a choice of restaurants for guests to experience throughout their stay or when visiting.
All of our dining facilities are spacious and offer maneuverability and can be easily accessed via the use of wheelchair wheelchair lifts. Easily accessible adapted toilets are also situated nearby.
Our restaurants currently offer both vegetarian and gluten free menu options. Our chefs will also be happy to discuss any further dietary requirements that you may have.
Leisure Facilities
Crieff Hydro offers a wide range of leisure activities throughout our 900 acre estate, many of which can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
Crieff Hydro Riding School is both a Trekking and Riding Society of Scotland and British Horse Society Approved stables resulting in the highest standard of instruction, safety and horse care. Our stables offer services for all ages from pony rides for children aged from 6 years upwards, group lessons and treks of the estate.
Let one of our fully qualified instructors take you and your friends on a tour of our estate in one of our all terrain vehicles including our two seater quad bikes, Land Rovers or our new Polaris Ranger. In addition, archery and low ropes course are both easily accessible for guest use. Other activities can be tailored to suit you needs.
Childcare
We offer up to six hours of complimentary group childcare each day for children aged between 2 and 12 years old. During this time, children can enjoy a number of fun and educational tasks with the help of our fully qualified members of staff.
