Here at Crieff Hydro, accessibility isn't an
afterthought. We want everyone to feel welcome and able to enjoy
our great facilities. It's an ongoing commitment, and one we're
proud to keep improving upon.
Hotel and room access
The main hotel meets VisitScotland's Grade 3 accessibility
standards from the moment you arrive. Drop-off parking means you
can arrive right at the hotel's main entrance, and four internal
lifts allow guests access to all our rooms and leisure
facilities.
Adapted ground-floor bedrooms are available
with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, and we also offer a
choice of accessible family accommodation.
Self-catering access
Located next to the main hotel near the Golf Course, Abercairney
Cottage is five-star self-catering accommodation that meets Visit
Scotland's Grade 1 accessibility standards. Wheelchair users have
comfortable access to all public spaces, including the open-plan
living area and outdoor deck. There is one wheelchair-accessible
en-suite bedroom, with a hoist to aid travel from bed to
bathroom.
Dining access
All of our restaurants and dining areas are spacious and offer
good manoeuvrability. Wheelchair users can get to all our
restaurants via the lifts and there are specifically-adapted toilet
facilities near each too.
Accessible fun for everyone
The hotel offers a wide range of leisure activities; and many
can be adapted to suit your individual needs.
Our approved Riding School offers high standards of instruction,
safety and care. We have accessible services for all ages; from
pony rides for children aged 6 and up, group lessons and treks of
the estate.
If adrenaline's your thing, let one of our fully-qualified
instructors take you on a tour of the estate in an all-terrain
vehicle or two-seater quad bike. Off-roading is based at our
activity centre, which also offers adaptable sports like archery
and a low ropes course. Come along and ask us what's available.
Childcare
Children aged 2-12 staying at the hotel are welcome to up to six
hours' free group childcare daily at our 'BIG Country'
facility. Fully-qualified, trained and registered staff are
here to provide fun, educational care, so if your child requires
specific assistance, please get in touch to discuss their
needs.
Hearing dogs
Hearing dogs are also made welcome at Crieff Hydro.
