Advance Purchase terms and conditions

Rates include VAT at the prevailing rate when your booking was made and subject to change without notice.

To make a reservation you must be 18 years old, accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of the party and accept responsibility to settle all outstanding balances.

Booking deposits are either transferrable to another booking or in the case of another reservation not being made non refundable. The final account for your stay must be settled on departure.

Advance Purchase Rates
Full prepayment is required at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other reservation dates, accommodation, goods or services.

Our Advance Purchase rates are better value than other more flexible rates. One reason for the lower prices is this - if you cancel you will still have to pay and there are no refunds or exchanges, so the only way to get your money back is if you are covered by holiday insurance.
Most cancellations are due to unforeseen circumstances of one sort or another which is why we go out of our way to recommend holiday insurance. We won't try and sell you this as many of our customers are already covered on annual trip insurance or through a policy associated with their home policy and there are many deals to be had. The reason we mention it again just now is so that if you do cancel we don't end up in an awkward situation as we like to be fair to all our customers by sticking to the cancellation terms and charges that apply, whatever the circumstances.

Freedom Dining
How much do I get to spend?
If you are staying on one of our Freedom Dining packages both adults and children over 12 have £25 each to spend. What’s more, we’ve made your daily allowance cumulative, so if your party is made up of 2 adults and 2 children over 12, you would have £100 to spend each day. If you don’t manage to spend all of this on one day, then it’s carried over to the next day of your stay, up until 11am on your departure day.

What are my choices?
It could be coffee and cake in the Winter Garden, a pizza in Piccolo or an evening meal in the Meikle (don’t forget about our Hub cafe, Brasserie, Clubhouse and sister hotel, The Murraypark). With Freedom Dining, the choice is entirely yours.

Is breakfast included?
Breakfast in our Meikle Restaurant is all taken care of as part of your rate and doesn’t affect your spending.

How much do under 12s get to spend?
Little ones under 12 can enjoy a spending allowance of £10 per child per day. This could include a packed lunch, Kids’ High tea or the choice to dine from our mini munchers menu served in The Meikle, Brasserie or Piccolo. Again the choice is yours (or theirs).

Is there anything that's not included?
Freedom Dining doesn’t cover alcoholic or soft drinks but you can use it for teas and coffees if you’d like. If you opt to spend a little more, it’s no problem - we’ll pop it onto your bill. We’re unable to offer refunds if you choose not to use your full allowance (sorry). All the more excuse to indulge in that extra slice of cake!

When can I start spending?
From the time you have checked in right up to 11am on the day of departure.
