To make a reservation you must be 18 years old, accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of the party and accept responsibility to settle all outstanding balances.
All of our rates include VAT at the prevailing rate when your booking was made and are subject to change without notice.
If you’ve booked a best available package:
We don’t ask for a deposit so you can pay the full balance of your stay when you arrive.
Our best available packages offer lots of flexibility and allow cancellations up until 48 hours before you arrive where you can transfer your booking to other available dates. If you choose to cancel after 2pm, 48 hours before you are due to arrive then we can’t offer an exchange and payment will be taken from your credit card, and the only way to get your money back is if you are covered by holiday insurance.
You should be aware that in some cases we may not have available rooms or packages on your new dates; so some changes may not be possible – our team can advise on this.
Most cancellations are due to unforeseen circumstances of one sort or another which is why we go out of our way to recommend holiday insurance. We won’t try and sell you this as many of our customers are already covered on annual trip insurance or through a policy associated with their home policy and there are many deals to be had. The reason we mention it again just now is so that if you do cancel, we don’t end up in an awkward situation. We like to be fair to all our customers by sticking to the cancellation terms and charges that apply, whatever the circumstances.
What is included in your package?
Your package may contain a number of included items, such as breakfast, dinner, childcare etc. These will be detailed at the time of booking; and you will need to make a reservation for these items (apart from breakfast) so you can be sure to take full advantage of what is included. There is no refund for unused components of your package.
If you have booked a package which includes Freedom dining, you will have a daily allowance to spend on food at the hotel. This excludes breakfast, which is already included; and excludes any soft drinks and alcohol; but does include tea and coffee. Although the allowance is calculated daily, you are welcome to spend it at any time during your stay. At the end of your stay, if you have spent more than your allowance, you will need to settle the balance at check out. If you have underspent, there is no refund for unused allowance.
How much do I get to spend?
Both adults and children over 12 have £25 each to spend. What’s more, we’ve made your daily allowance cumulative, so if your party is made up of 2 adults and 2 children over 12, you would have £100 to spend each day. If you don’t manage to spend all of this on one day, then it’s carried over to the next day of your stay, up until 11am on your departure day.
What are my choices?
It could be coffee and cake in the Winter Garden, a pizza in Piccolo or an evening meal in the Meikle (don’t forget about our Hub cafe, Brasserie, Clubhouse and sister hotel, The Murraypark). With Freedom Dining, the choice is entirely yours.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast in our Meikle Restaurant is all taken care of as part of your rate and doesn’t affect your spending.
How much do under 12s get to spend?
Little ones under 12 can enjoy a spending allowance of £10 per child per day. This could include a packed lunch, Kids’ High tea or the choice to dine from our mini munchers menu served in The Meikle, Brasserie or Piccolo. Again the choice is yours (or theirs).
Is there anything that's not included?
Freedom Dining doesn’t cover alcoholic or soft drinks but you can use it for teas and coffees if you’d like. If you opt to spend a little more, it’s no problem - we’ll pop it onto your bill. We’re unable to offer refunds if you choose not to use your full allowance (sorry). All the more excuse to indulge in that extra slice of cake!
When can I start spending?
From the time you have checked in right up to 11am on the day of departure.
Children's lunches are avilable on the day of party arrival only.
Pets are not permitted in the hotel with the exception of guide dogs for the blind or deaf.
Under the Hotel Proprietors Act persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
