It's a grand old room (with a suitably grand name). But the food and drink is refreshingly simple and hearty - just what you'd expect from a quality Scottish restaurant.
In the morning, it's the perfect sunny spot to soak up the newspapers over a pot of tea. Lunch sees hungry kids fill up on packed lunches, while mum and dad choose from homemade soups, sandwiches and salads.
And to think, only a few hours ago, you couldn't possibly have fitted in another morsel after breakfast.
