We think our course at Culcrieff Golf Club is
one of Scotland's best kept secrets. So much so that the members
would rather we didn't advertise the fact. Not very sporting of
them, is it? Although, when you become a member yourself, you'll
understand.
The 18-hole course is set in the Strathearn Valley, with
atmospheric views of Ben Vorlich and Ben More. But you'll have to
switch off from the scenery a bit if you want to play to your
handicap on this challenging course. The second, fifth and seventh
are all serious par fours. It's not all hard work mind you: the
18th hole is a downhill par three of 212 yards.
And for the perfect end to the perfect round, join us in the
cosy clubhouse, which serves hearty food and well-deserved drinks
(along with congratulations or commiserations, scorecard
pending).
