Salary : Competitive
Big Team, Big Opportunity
About the role
We're looking for a top-notch reservations manager who is up for
a challenge and can take themselves and our business onto the next
level. You'll be joining a weighty sales and marketing team at
Scotland's leading independent leisure resort. This means you get
to sit at the table with every specialism from marketing to revenue
and make a real contribution to our growing business.
You'll be in charge of 16 agents working voice and digital
channels 13/7 to convert nearly £1M of revenue every month.
That's a lot of calls and a lot of bookings so whilst sales and
service coaching and leadership will be your lifeblood, a sharp
portfolio of IT, systems and communication skills will be in
your top-drawer. An understanding of Opera, ACD and MS Office
wizardry would be ideal and an eye for penning a decent email a
basic. That, and an experienced management head that's used to the
demands of a diverse hotel/resort operation and has the instincts
and interest to see through the customer journey by working with
colleagues.
All that's just for starters. What we're really interested in is
your new ideas as we're convinced that service innovation and
responding to changing customer demands will be the key to our
continued success. Commercially aware, you'll be keen on
doing your own analysis and KPIs, understand how reservations fits
into the revenue picture and be hungry to learn more. We'll
be expecting you not just to pick up the pace in developing culture
and standards in your own team but also to make a big contribution
round the wider sales and marketing table
With the 2011 Springboard Award for Best Management Strategy,
amongst our accolades, Crieff Hydro has been on the go since
1868. But step over our threshold and you'll see that we are
far from traditional. According to independent guide Scotland the
Best we are "a national institution and still a family
business...moving with the times...uniquely good in the
world". With £40M spent in ten years keeping our product
up-to-date you'll soon see why customers of all types keep coming
back to the resort and why we have such a high industry profile.
With over 200 4*hotel bedrooms, 50 5* self-catering units, 6 food
outlets and a dozen function rooms there really is something for
every kind of customer and great opportunities for our team.
Check out the movers and shakers in Scottish tourism and you'll see
we're always involved. All this in the lovely town of Crieff,
just 20 minutes from the City of Perth.
The role is full time, 5 days from 7 which includes weekends on
a rota basis.
