About the role
Our recently refurbished Brasserie restaurant seats 205, to
accommodate the number of guests who enjoy our freshly prepared
produce on a daily basis.
As Sous Chef, you'll motivate the kitchen brigade to prepare a
la carte food for up to 280 people on busy days. Although we
do high numbers, the food is all freshly prepared and we want to
excite our customers with our menu ideas and standard of
cooking. You'll have an eye for quality, consistency and for
portion control. A people person, you'll also build good
relationships with the front of house team to make sure our guests
get exactly what they want, quickly.
You'll develop our daily specials menu and will work closely
with our Head Chef and the rest of the team to continuously improve
our changing a la carte menu. We are proud of our Grade A
rating from the EHO and you will make sure you help us maintain
this through your own good working practices and cleaning
standards, and through encouraging this in the team.
Hours of work are 40 - 45 hours per week, 5 days from 7, between
the hours of 9am and 10pm. We may be able to provide
staff accommodation for the successful applicant if required.
