When we say we're family-friendly, we really do mean it. That’s why we offer FREE group childcare for hotel guests 2 to 12 years old. Run around inside the castle, make new friends over the arts and crafts table or go head-to-head over the X-box.
What to Expect
BIG Country is available to our guests who are staying in the hotel between 2-12 years old.
Big Country can be booked on either your arrival OR departure date, and each day of your stay in between. For example, if you were to stay Monday – Friday, you could have Monday or Friday and then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
If you're staying in one of our Self-Catering lodges, Murraypark Hotel or if you've booked through a third party (for example, booking.com) then it's £20.00 for a two-hour session.
- Each session is two hours.
- We get pretty busy so it's best to book in advance.
- For safety, all children must be booked into their correct age groups, this is to comply with The Care Inspectorate Ratio Guidance. Don’t worry if you children are in different age groups, here at Big country we believe in free flow play.
- Have peace of mind - all of our team are fully trained and registered with relevant governing bodies and all undergo Disclosure Scotland checks.

BIG Country sessions are two hours:
- 9.30am – 11.30am
- 12.30pm – 2.30pm
- 3.00pm – 5.00pm
Bridge sessions will no longer be available.
