We’re thrilled to bits to be open again. The government guidelines are changing all the time and many things may have changed since your last visit, even if you stayed in 2020. It’s always a good idea to keep checking this page to see what the latest changes are before your stay. Bookmark it as a favourite as it’s the best way for you to know what to expect.

Just in case you won’t have chance to pop back here, take a look at the top things you need to remember about your stay:

  • Activities and Restaurants – You can reserve a table in a restaurant and book activities and spa treatments all online. You can book these as soon as you’ve got your accommodation confirmation number.
  • Breakfast – don’t miss out on the most important meal of the day. You have to book your table for breakfast. Peak times between 8:00am – 10:00am go quickly. Click here to book your breakfast slot online.
  • Slots to book your time in the swimming pool and gym are available for the next three months. Each swimming session is 45 minutes and each gym session 1 hour.  Swimming sessions are really popular especially around school holidays when more families are staying.  It’s best to book swimming early and to book only one slot per day to make sure everyone gets some splash time.  If the screen is blank when you come to book swimming, sadly it means we’re already full.
  • If you need to amend your activity booking or your table reservation, then you can do that online too. Just the same way as you booked your activity, scroll to the bottom and there is the option to cancel or amend your booking. To amend any dining reservations, click here and then select ‘my reservation’ at the bottom.
  • Lodge name and number – If you’ve booked into our self-catering accommodation and don’t know your specific lodge or cabin name, we will send you an email on the day you’re due to arrive to let you know what number you’re in so that you can go straight to your accommodation when you get here.
  • Restaurant bookings – Ten guests from four households can eat together inside and 15 guests from 15 households can eat outside. We are accepting resident bookings only at the moment, all tables can be booked online, if there are no available tables showing, we’re full. You can try a different restaurant or a different time.  Tables are set for groups of four in Tiffin – our lovely Indian restaurant. Sorry, we can’t push tables together, so if you’re in a group larger than four and are keen to all eat on the same table, it’s best you avoid Tiffin.

  • Winter Garden – Open daily, from 9am
  • Tiffin at the Winter Garden – Open Wednesday – Sunday
  • The Terrace – Open daily, from 12pm
  • Basecamp at Action Glen – Open daily from 9am
  • Meikle – Open daily for breakfast and family carvery
  • The Hub – Open daily from 12pm
  • Bus Bar – Open daily for evening drinks

All dining is bookable on our website here, if your preferred time is not showing as available, we’re really sorry but this will mean that restaurant time is fully booked. Try an alternative time or restaurant and check on arrival as there may be last minute cancellations.

  • BIG Country – Open daily

Spa and Leisure

Spa – Open daily
Leisure pool and gym – Open daily

  • Pre-booking is required online, we ask guests to only book 1 session per day – Book now.
  • Our changing rooms, spa bath, sauna and steam room are still out of action so come dressed for the pool.

Victorian Baths – Open daily

  • The Victorian Baths will be an adult only swimming pool
  • Pre-booking can be done online, we ask guests to only book 1 session per day – Book now.

Changes to your stay

Coronavirus means we’re changing how we do some things to help stop the virus spread and look out for the health of our guests and our team. Here is a roundup of the main changes you’ll notice during your stay:

  • Room amenities – for both hotel and self-catering, we have removed some of the added extras you might expect, for hygiene reasons. These are now available on request from reception.
  • Contactless payments – we are now a cash-free resort. Please pay by contactless where you can.
  • Face masks/coverings – these are now mandatory for guests and our team to wear around the resort. If you have forgotten to bring one with you, we have them available for purchase.
  • Breakfast Booking – best to book your slot for breakfast in advance or book your grab and go option if you’re short on time.
  • Social distancing – we have introduced visual reminders and markers to help you keep your distance from guests and our team. We have also installed protective screens/cough guards.
  • Activities – our activities now have to be booked in advance. Please check availability before your stay so you can book the activities you want.
  • Pool & Gym booking – We’re limiting the number of people in the pool & gym at one time, you will need to pre-book a time slot.
  • Biocidal cleaning – we have developed enhanced cleaning procedures for every nook, cranny, and surface throughout the hotel.

Help us protect yourself and others by getting the whole family to:

  • Avoid travelling if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or have been advised to self-isolate
  • Wash your hands. If this is not possible hand sanitiser will do
  • Wear a mask or face covering when indoors.
  • Got a habit of touching your face? Best to break this habit if you can
  • Avoid people who are unwell – or avoid others if it’s you that’s poorly
