This year we’ve got the amazing band The Shakers at our Christmas party nights.

All party guests must be over 18 years of age on the date of your party.

If you’re staying over, your residential Christmas party package includes:

• A drink on us on arrival.
• Three-course festive choice dinner. Pick your dish on the night.
• Half a bottle of wine per person.
• Live entertainment.
• Overnight accommodation.
• Full Scottish breakfast.
• Access to all our leisure facilities.

We will ask you for your party group name when booking, it is important that everyone in your party uses the same party group name so that we know to sit you all together at the party night. There will be a table plan at the entrance to direct you to your table.

If your party is under 12, then you’ll probably be sharing your table with other guests – it’s a great way to make new friends. If you’re party is over 12 guests, then you’ll be split over tables but we’ll make sure the tables are close together.

We will ask you for your party group name when booking, it is important that everyone in your party uses the same party group name so that we know to sit you all together at the party night.

We will also try to allocate bedrooms together, but we can’t promise this. 

Your £30 deposit is non refundable however any additional money paid will be refunded until the point where all money is due – 8 weeks before your party. If you cancel within 8 weeks of your Party night, your payments will be non-refundable and cannot be used against other products or services. All cancellations can be made online.

Unfortunately, no. Licensing laws are pretty strict and only alcoholic drinks purchased from the hotel may be consumed on property. Any items brought into the hotel will be confiscated and returned to you on departure.

Drinks can be purchased by credit/debit card or you can add them to your room account, where they will be off-set against your pre-authorisation charge. Or, take away the stress and pre-order your drinks, just ask your Party Night Coordinator for more details.

Join us in the Ferntower Suite or Hub from 6.45pm for a drink. The drinks reception is only available for half an hour, so be quick and get your drink.

After your drinks reception, you’ll be whisked away into The Melville, where dinner will be served at 7.15pm. We’ll take your food order on the night, so no-need to collect a pre-order from your group. If anyone in your party has any food allergies, let your Party Night Coordinator know 8 weeks prior to your party night. Groups with under 12 guests may be on a shared table - sharing is caring.

Our Terrace bar is the place to go when the dancing ends – it’s open into the wee small hours.

Check-in is from 4:00pm although you’re welcome to use the resorts facilities from 10:00am on your arrival day until 5:00pm on your departure day. Check-out is 11:00am.

We will ask for a mandatory pre-authorisation on a credit/debit card of £50.00 per room to cover any incidentals during your stay. This money is frozen in your account and any unused amount is unfrozen on departure. It can take up to 21 working days for your bank to release these funds and so we do advise to check you have enough money in your account to cover this.

Tip: If you use a credit card for your pre-authorisation, the release period is usually much quicker.

Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel – and it’s free. Open your browser, log in and away you go.

We’re now a cash-free resort so you won’t be able pay for drinks by cash – so don’t forgot to bring your credit or debit card. And we ask you to please pay by contactless where you can.

We have a variable feast waiting for you in the Meikle Restaurant from 7.30am – 10am. Word to the wise, the later you get there, the more queues there will be. You'll also need to book your table for breakfast in advance.

Of course. We’ll send out a post-stay email about a week after your party night. If you’d like to repeat your fabulous stay with us, just click on the link to reserve your 2024 party night and pay your deposit. It really is that easy.

Party nights are all about having a great time and we want you and your fellow party-goers to have a fabulous night. If any of your party mis-behave or act in an offensive manner, we do reserve the right to remove them from the premises without a refund.

Remember that our hotel is smoke-free. There are dedicated areas outside for smokers to go instead. If you smoke in your room, the penalty is £250.00 per day plus the loss of earnings for the following room night. If additional bedroom cleaning is required following smoking in your room, a minimum charge of £100.00 will be applied. We reserve the right to charge your pre-authorised credit/debit card for the above.

We've listened to your feedback and made some changes to our party nights to make our party nights even better. So this year you've got:

• Half a bottle of wine per person included in the package price.
• Great entertainment from The Shakers. They'll play three 45-minute sets during the night playing a variety of music including Christmas hits. Get your dancing shoes on as the evening will finish with a DJ too.
