Christmas Party Nights

Don't worry, just because you are the organiser it doesn't mean you have to pay for everyone. Once you've chosen your party name just let everyone know it and they can book their own ticket.

They just need to make sure they use the same party name and add it to their booking on the online form.

Full payments are due 8 weeks ahead of your party night. If you book any of our party nights within that 8 week window, full payments will be due at the time of booking.

This year we’ve got the amazing band Groove Culture at our Christmas party nights.

All party guests must be over 18 years of age on the date of your party.

If you’re staying over, your residential Christmas party package includes:

• A drink on us on arrival.
• Three-course festive choice dinner.
• Half a bottle of wine per person.
• Live entertainment.
• Overnight accommodation.
• Full Scottish breakfast.
• Access to all our leisure facilities.

We will ask you for your party group name when booking, it is important that everyone in your party uses the same party group name so that we know to sit you all together at the party night. There will be a table plan at the entrance to direct you to your table.

If your party is under 10, then you’ll probably be sharing your table with other guests – it’s a great way to make new friends. If you’re party is over 10 guests, then you’ll be split over tables but we’ll make sure the tables are close together.

If you cancel within 8 weeks of your Party Night, the total cost of your party night is fully chargeable and full payment must be settled.

Unfortunately, no. Licensing laws are pretty strict and only alcoholic drinks purchased from the hotel may be consumed on property. Any items brought into the hotel will be confiscated and returned to you on departure.

Drinks can be purchased by credit/debit card on the night of your party. Or, take away the stress and pre-order your drinks, just ask your Party Night Coordinator for more details.

Dress to impress.

After your drinks reception, you’ll be whisked away into The Melville, where dinner will be served. We will be in touch to gather food pre-orders. If anyone in your party has any food allergies, let your Party Night Coordinator know 8 weeks prior to your party night. Groups with under 10 guests may be on a shared table - sharing is caring.

The Ballroom Bar is the place to go when the dancing ends – it’s open into the wee small hours.

Check-in is from 4:00pm although you’re welcome to use the resorts facilities from 10:00am on your arrival day until 5:00pm on your departure day. Check-out is 11:00am.

We will ask for a mandatory pre-authorisation on a credit card of £50.00 per room to cover any incidentals during your stay. This money is frozen in your account and any unused amount is unfrozen on departure. It can take up to 21 working days for your bank to release these funds and so we do advise to check you have enough money in your account to cover this.

Tip: If you use a credit card for your pre-authorisation, the release period is usually much quicker.

Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel – and it’s free. Open your browser, log in and away you go.

We’re now a cash-free resort so you won’t be able pay for drinks by cash – so don’t forgot to bring your credit or debit card. And we ask you to please pay by contactless where you can.

Yes - we have a variable feast waiting for you in The Meikle from 7.30am – 10am. Word to the wise, the later you get there, the more queues there will be.

Party nights are all about having a great time and we want you and your fellow party-goers to have a fabulous night. If any of your party mis-behave or act in an offensive manner, we do reserve the right to remove them from the premises without a refund.

Remember that our hotel is smoke-free. There are dedicated areas outside for smokers to go instead. If you smoke in your room, the penalty is £250.00 per day plus the loss of earnings for the following room night. If additional bedroom cleaning is required following smoking in your room, a minimum charge of £100.00 will be applied. We reserve the right to charge your pre-authorised credit/debit card for the above.
