January Skating Rink

Get your skates on this January!

Join Picco & his friends at his very own skating rink! The skating rink will be running every day from Friday the 6th of December to Friday the 31st January and is open to our guests and day visitors. Skaters will twirl and swirl to Christmas music in the undercover rink so there’s no need to worry about any wet or wintery weather. We’re even transforming our Piccolo restaurant into “elf-quarters” where you’ll check in, get your skates, buy a warm drink or even a slice of stonebaked pizza!

Skating can be booked on the day, but spaces will fill quickly on this unique festive fun!

When is it running?

The skating rink will be open from the 6th December until the 31st January!

What are the session times?

4th of January – 31st of January

Monday – Friday: 11.00-2.30, 16.00-18.00

Weekends: 10.00-18.00

Skating sessions last 45 minutes, make sure to arrive 15 minutes before your session time to get booted up!

Where is it?

You’ll find us on the bowling green outside Piccolo, just beside the Brasserie lawn.

Is it real ice?

This Christmas we’re doing our bit for the polar bears. No, they’re not invited to join us (that would be a health & safety nightmare!) What we are doing is opting for a synthetic ice alternative that requires zero energy and very little water. This clever stuff replicates the slippery, icy and Christmas-y experience you’d expect.

Do I need to book?

Skating can be booked on the day, but spaces are likely to fill on this unique festive fun!
