Party Night FAQ’S

What time is check-in? 4pm – if you’re rooms ready before this, we might be able to offer early check-in, but we can’t guarantee this
What time is check-out? 11am
Can I use the facilities? Of course you can! From noon on arrival day till 5pm on departure day
Can I have my room early? You’ll need to request this before arriving. Again, this is something we can’t guarantee, sorry!
Can I have a late departure? Check with Reception during your stay, we might be able to offer this.
When are pre-dinner drinks? 6.45pm in the Ferntower Suite, see you there!
When is dinner served? 7.15pm in Melville, please don’t be late
Do I need to pre-order my meal? Nope, it’s all done on the night – it’s a party-planner’s dream!
Can I bring my children? Over 18’s only are allowed to our party nights, so get your baby sitter booked and have the night off!
Is the Victorian Spa included? No, but you can book your slot with our Leisure Team, just dial 5555 from your room phone when you arrive.
Can I pre-order drinks? Yes, have a look at your confirmation email, there’s a link to pre-order your drinks in the email – make sure your orders are in 3 days prior to your party night.
Can I change my wine with dinner to Prosecco? No, but you can pre-order Prosecco for the table.  Have a look at your confirmation email, there’s a drink pre-order link there.
How much is the deposit? £35.00 per person, this needs to be paid at time of booking to confirm.
When is the balance due? 12 weeks before your party night date, Dawn will send you a reminder a couple of weeks before this is due.
What is included in the package? Your residential party package includes:

  • Arrival glass of fizz
  • 3 course dinner served with a half bottle of wine
  • Live band entertainment
  • Overnight accommodation with a full Scottish breakfast
I want to change the booking but I am not the organiser? Only the organiser can change the booking, ask them to get in touch with Dawn.
Can we make individual payments? No, only the organiser can make payments and they need to be made in one, singular payment.
When do I get my pre-authorisation money back? Up to 5 working days, it’s better if you use a credit card rather than debit card – it can come back faster.
When is my rooming list due? 12 weeks before your party night date, Dawn will send you a reminder a couple of weeks before this is due.
When is breakfast? 7.30am – 10.00am, word to the wise, the later you come the busier it will be.
Do you have Wi-Fi? Yes, just connect when you’re onsite and you’ll be guided to a portal.
What is the dress code? Dress to impress
Is there an after party? Brasserie Bar is open and ready for the night owls
How can I pay for drinks? Cash, card or room charge
Can you pick us up at the station? No but we can book you a taxis, just let us know the details
Can I have my own room? Yes, there are supplements – ask your organiser to get in touch with Dawn to see what these are.
Can you cater for my dietary requirements? Yes, get your organiser to let us know your requirements 12 weeks prior to your party night.
Can I bring my dog? We love furry friends as much as anyone. Dogs are welcome in our kennels, studio rooms or Murraypark Hotel – ask Dawn for details.
Can I stay in self-catering? Yes, you’d need to book onto the non-residential package. Ask Dawn for details.
Do I have to stay over? No, you can book on to the non-residential package.
When does the party end? 1am, if you want to keep the party going, head over to the Brasserie Bar.
Where are pre-dinner drinks? Ferntower Suite and Hub
Where is the party? Melville Hall
How many people go to the party? Up to 400 per night
Can I upgrade my drinks package? No, but you can add on drinks to your table for arrival. Just have a look at your confirmation email for pre-drinks order link.
Do I really need to fill in a booking form? Yes and remember to pop in all your details.
Can I add guests? We’d like to say yes to adding everyone on, but it really depends on availability – ask Dawn to see if this is an option for your party night.
Can I get a refund if I cancel? Unfortunately no, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
