The Self Isolation Bucket List

Now, we’re all thinking, what are we going to be doing during self-isolation… But, this could be the time we do things we rarely get to do or have always wanted to do! Whether you love to bake or want to get fitter, you still can hit your goals. To keep you motivated during these unexpected times we have created 30 things to do in 30 days. A ‘Self Isolation Bucket List’ if you will. This is to give you an idea of what you could get up to during lock down. We have made a printable version for you to print out so you can try it out.

Don’t forget to let us know if you’re taking part.

  1. Make your own bread (oh what a wonderful smell!)
  2. Learn a different language (Hola, bonjour, ciao!)
  3. Get your running shoes on and go for a wee run (soon you’ll be doing a 5km)
  4. Get 8 hours sleep (take this time to get those hours in)
  5. Try out a bit of yoga, namaste (good for the mind, body and soul)
  6. Read the book you’ve been wanting to read but you’ve never had the chance to
  7. Bake with your family and try and make some goodies like you’d see in the Winter Garden (cupcakes, scones and patisserie!)
  8. Do ‘Come Dine with Me’ with your family members (what would you make as your Starter, Main, Dessert)
  9. Make your own face mask (one the Crieff Hydro Spa would be proud of)
  10. Organise your wardrobe (time to clear out the clothes you don’t wear much anymore)
  11. Teach a family member a skill
  12. Do some fun crafts (paint, papier-mâché)
  13. ‘Hinch’ your household – get the duster out!
  14. Spend one day not looking at social media (a social media detox!)
  15. Make a smoothie to start your day
  16. Create a scrapbook of memories with you and your family
  17. Play a board game with your family (or virtually with your friends)
  18. Eat your five a day and drink 8 glasses of water (for once!)
  19. Binge on one (or five) tv box sets
  20. Plan out places you’d like to travel in the future
  21. Play a game of charades
  22. Make a Sunday Roast (doesn’t need to be on a Sunday)
  23. Create your own cocktail/mocktail (like one you’d get in the Meikle)
  24. Give someone a compliment
  25. Spend a day looking after yourself (pamper yourself!)
  26. Make your own pizza (like one you’d find in Piccolo, ciao bella)
  27. Have a relaxing bath (bubble bath and bath salts galore)
  28. Grab your shovel, it’s time to touch up the garden on a nice day (fingers crossed for some sunshine)
  29. Plant some seeds and try a grow your own vegetables
  30. Put on your pyjamas and have a movie night
